BUILDING WORKFORCE READINESS: THE OMAN CLEAN ENERGY LABOUR OUTLOOK This report analyzes the employment potential within Oman’s emerging green economy. It examines current workforce readiness, unemployment trends in clean energy sectors, and the country’s capacity to create new jobs in renewable energy, clean industry, and related technologies. The study evaluates key sectors with the highest potential for job creation, maps required skills and occupations, and assesses the preparedness of educational and training institutions. Using surveys, interviews, economic datasets, and advanced analytical tools—including occupational mapping, econometrics, machine learning, and strategic foresight—the report provides a forward-looking roadmap for developing meaningful employment opportunities in Oman’s clean energy transition.
